Workshop materials and presentations
All materials and presentations essential to the smooth running of the workshop will be distributed in the form of copies or saved on a USB key.
The provisional agenda will be sent to the country office as soon as available. The final version of the agenda will be distributed before the start of the workshop.
A French/English interpreting system will be available.
Immigration formalities in Burkina Faso.
Foreigners are generally subject to an entry visa
apart from
nationals of ECOWAS States. This visa can be obtained in Burkinabè Embassies in the country of origin.

The visa can also be obtained on arrival under the following conditions: filling out the forms, 2 passport photos and an amount entered in the link below. The passport is collected 48 hours later.
United Nations Passport (UNLP) holders do not need an entry visa to Burkina Faso.
yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from all travelers. Anti-malaria prophylactic treatment is recommended before, during and after the stay for participants coming from non-malaria endemic areas.
Travel authorization and daily subsistence allowance (DSA)
The daily subsistence allowance (DSA) of Ouagadougou Burkina Faso for the month of February 2024 will be applicable. Participants are expected to receive 140,000 FCFA per night from the DSA for other hotels and 224,000 FCFA in Lancaster to cover accommodation,
dinner
and incidentals for the 03 days of the workshop.
Participants must ensure they receive their compensation before planning to travel to Burkina Faso. All necessary arrangements must be made
before
your departure.

∙ Taxi: the taxi system is poorly developed in Burkina Faso. If you need to take a taxi, contact hotel security who will recommend hotel taxis.
∙ Motorcycles: It is not recommended to travel by motorcycle. However, if you must do so, comply with the regulations in force, in particular the compulsory wearing of helmets for the driver and passenger, and ensure the good condition of the machine which must be registered and insured.
